Quoted from The Legal 500 2006,
"Paul Dickie heads Prettys' large shipping team, which has recently been handling an increasing amount of ship finance work. It also defended a $1m loss of cargo claim brought against Yang Ming, and handled a $400,000 crane damage case in India. Dinesh Dorai Raj, who is dual qualified in the UK and Singapore, has a good reputation, and clients say that they have 'nothing but praise for the whole team'."
Quoted from Chambers and Partners, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession 2007,
"This Ipswich-based maritime group’s reach extends to London, Felixstowe and Harwich. Building on its Spanish reputation, the team is getting increasing volumes of referrals from Spanish firms. Being a broad practice, it incorporates cargo matters as diverse as the defence of asbestosis claims brought against a new client, to advising an international transport group in response to a claim for the loss of a shipment of human plasma. A background working in overseas markets serves partner Paul Dickie well in his maritime work, where he advises on the full range of dry disputes and some offshore construction matters."
