We are hosting two free legal briefings for HR and business professionals to provide an update on a range of key employment law issues.

As part of our Prettys’ Business Academy programme, the events will offer advice on the taxation of termination payments and self-employment, as well as touching on hot topics such as potential employment implications of Brexit and Gender Pay Gap reporting.

There will also be an overview of how Prettys’ dispute resolution approach, ‘Talking Works’, can be applied to resolve issues within the workplace.

Finally, attendees will be provided with an update on recent employment law cases in the UK and European courts, and how they may apply to businesses.

Commenting on the events, Head of Employment Services Kelly Sayers, said: “Our bi-annual employment law update briefings are always popular events and not only provide HR and business professionals with an overview of changes in this complex area, but also offer some guidance on a range of different employment law issues.”

The events are taking place in Ipswich at the Suffolk Food Hall on Thursday 10th November and in Chelmsford at Hylands House on Thursday 24th November. Both seminars run between 8.30am  and 10.45am.
