CSR Newsletter December 2016

Issue 7

Welcome

to the December 2016 edition of the Prettys’ CSR newsletter and a Merry Christmas to all of you.

The number 110 has dominated our thoughts this year because of Prettys’ 110th anniversary.  Inside you’ll find creative examples of how we’ve been using this as a good excuse for CSR activities, including tree-planting, tandem cycling, cake baking and pro bono work, including the Will Aid Scheme.

In addition, we continue to engage with students of all ages through mentoring and school-related activities.

As I write, the Ipswich Winter Night Shelter has opened its doors for another year and I’d like to thank all our staff who are volunteering their time to help this much needed local charity.

The last few months have sadly seen the departure of our previous Head of CSR, Emma Champion, for pastures new.  I’d like to record our thanks for all Emma’s great efforts over the past few years.
