CSR Newsletter July 2016

Issue 6

Welcome

to Prettys’ July edition of its CSR Newsletter. In this new online version of the newsletter, we review the team’s recent activities including the provision of pro bono advice, connecting with schools and colleges, supporting local charities and the arts.

As 2016 is Prettys 110th anniversary year, we have been particularly pleased to undertake and plan a number of special celebratory activities, alongside our regular ones, as you will see in the following article.  One very rare and special Montezuma Pine tree is already proudly on display for all to see, having been donated to the Friends of Christchurch Park and planted in their Arboretum.  We were also delighted to see our Ian Seeley’s tandemathon go viral (or almost!) having raised significant funds for the Papworth Trust.

It has been a pleasure to oversee the firm’s efforts and plans during this special celebratory year.  Along with the CSR committee I am grateful for your interest, and would like to thank you sincerely for any support you may have provided us in our fundraising efforts.

We are also always looking for new and varied opportunities to assist our local community. Therefore please do not hesitate to contact any member of Prettys’ CSR Committee if you have any ideas or questions in relation to charity and community projects.
