Our banking team acts for a variety of high street and international banks and other finance providers. Our lawyers are highly experienced in drafting and negotiating facility documents and security packs, and issuing letters of opinion to overseas funders regarding validity and enforceability of finance documents and charges. We have close relationships within the banking and finance industry and can assist clients with securing funding for their business or for a particular transaction.

As well as high street banks, we also act for venture capital and private equity funds looking to invest in businesses. We understand the commercial drivers behind venture capital funding, and have experience in arranging share structures and shareholder agreements which protect the funds’ investment.
