Michael Booth

Michael is a joint co-ordinator for both Prettys’ CSR newsletter and for its educational programme.

Before joining Prettys as a trainee solicitor in September 2015, Michael volunteered as a gateway assessor with Ipswich Citizens Advice Bureau for four years. In this role he interviewed clients to explore the problems they faced and identified the appropriate next steps for them.

He now regularly volunteers at the Law Advice Clinic run by Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality (ISCRE), where he has advised clients on the enforceability of a commercial loan, compliance with a suspended possession order and rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. He has also jointly co-ordinated a collection for Ipswich Housing Action Group (IHAG), baked to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice and the Papworth Trust and taken part in the Ipswich Legal Walk.

Please do not hesitate to contact Michael with any queries or suggestions relating to newsletter and publications or the educational programme.
