Laura Parker

studied at Homerton College Cambridge, before retraining for the law at Anglia Ruskin University where she gained a distinction on the Legal Practice Course.  She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 having trained with a local firm where she worked until joining Prettys Estates department in October 2016.

Laura advises  individuals on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Inheritance Tax planning as well as dealing with the administration of estates and trusts.  She offers her clients a practical and sympathetic  approach.

Nigel George

has been a solicitor for more than 30 years and has a wide body of legal experience. He became a member of STEP (The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners) in 2014. This is considered the Gold standard for providing advice on wills, trusts and  Inheritance tax.  

Nigel encourages all of his clients to engage in effective tax planning. He has a keen interest in Dementia, Mental Capacity and end of life care and has delivered a number of seminars on these subjects to those in the medical, social care and wider community. He is a member of the National Council of Palliative Care, the Alzheimer’s Society and a Dementia Champion.  He’s a great believer in encouraging clients to plan ahead and  believes it’s just as important to consider the person as the legal problem they face.
