Prettys expand employment services through partnership with Immigration specialists Davidson Morris

As the global marketplace continues to expand, employment lawyers Prettys have seen an increase in the requests for specialist international employment advice including immigration services. In response to this growing need, Prettys, who have offices in Chelmsford and Ipswich, have announced a partnership with immigration law specialists Davidson Morris.

The partnership will allow Prettys to offer a seamless service across a host of international employment issues which will now include immigration advice and support. For businesses in a range of sectors from shipping and logistics to banking and finance, where the workforce is spread across a number of markets, the demand for immigration expertise as well as standardising employment practices and contracts has risen considerably.

Matthew Cole, Partner and head of employment services at Prettys said, “We have been working with Davidson Morris for over four years and we are pleased to have now created a formal partnership. Managing immigration issues is a very specialised skill set and so it is a hugely beneficial addition to the international employment advice we already provide to our clients.”

Anne Morris, Managing Director, Davidson Morris commented, “We see the partnership with Prettys as a natural fit and it means our clients can also access a wide range of employment services above and beyond the immigration advice that we specialise in.”

Prettys already offer a range of services to international businesses including developing cross-border employment policies, supporting global restructures as well as standardising contracts, benefits packages and tax issues.  Last year we completed the worldwide roll-out of an incentive scheme for one of the UK’s leading publishers. The addition of immigration services means that Prettys can now help clients with international secondments, sponsorship agreements as well as establishing a UK base.

The increase in international employment advice is part of a wider expansion of employment law and related services which is being offered by the solicitor team at Prettys in both our Ipswich and Chelmsford offices.
