Ian Seeley, an associate partner and keen cyclist here at Prettys took to his tandem bicycle during National Bike Week (11-19 June), raising over £1,000 in support of leading disability charity, Papworth Trust.

Ian collected a colleague from their home each day for a tandem ride into work and back home at the end of the day, clocking up well over the 110 mile target he set himself to mark the firm’s 110th anniversary.

Talking of his week-long tandem challenge, Ian said: “I had terrific support from friends and colleagues, both my fellow tandem cyclists and the many that supported me with their generous donations. I’m thrilled to have raised so much for a local charity that does such a great job supporting disabled people.”

Ian presented a cheque to the Papworth Trust at their Museum Street Ipswich centre. Jo Revitt, the charity’s Corporate Partnership Fundraiser, said: “We must extend a huge thank you to Ian and the team at Pretty’s. Without support such as theirs Papworth Trust would not be able to support thousands of disabled people each year.”
