Wills, estates, trusts and tax

Protecting your interests

We pride ourselves on giving clients clear, jargon free, and practical advice on inheritance tax planning, wills, estates and trusts at competitive prices.

Every member of our teams based in Chelmsford and Ipswich has many years’ experience in all aspects of our work and some of the team also have the added qualification of a Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners diploma. This gives our probate lawyer team the ability and expertise to not only complete the task you are instructing us to undertake but to consider the wider implications to ensure you can achieve your aims in the most tax efficient and safe way possible.

We guide new parents through making their first Will as well as updating Wills as personal circumstances change. We provide estate planning for business owners nearing retirement age to ensure tax and succession aspirations are fulfilled.

We also assist our clients through the complexities of care fee planning and inheritance tax to protect your hard earned assets. We are also here to support you when a loved one dies and their estate needs to be administered.

Trusts are a useful tool for many situations such as care fees, succession, tax planning and shielding personal injury compensation awards. We are able to advise you on the need for a trust, its creation, administration, taxation and wind up.
