Jennifer Rayner

Jen has obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial and Business Law from the University of East Anglia.  She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course in 2011 at the College of Law in Moorgate, London.

Jen joined the legal team of a large charity in Sudbury as their Legacy Officer for two years where she oversaw the management and collection of all legacies left to the charity and optimised the income of the legacies.  After this, she joined an American law firm in the City as the Financial Services Paralegal for a year and a half.  As the only Paralegal in that team, she worked closely with all members of the team in domestic and cross-border matters in mainly asset-based lending transactions.

She qualified as a solicitor at a local high street firm in January 2017 and joined their busy Commercial Property department dealing with all aspects of Commercial Property work including the acquisition of development sites; commercial and residential leases; the sale and purchase of commercial property and the sale and purchase of businesses.

Jen subsequently joined the Commercial Property department within the Real Estate team at Prettys in March 2018 and is making use of her broad and unique range of experience to assist individuals, businesses and charities with their commercial property matters.  These matters have consisted of lease assignments, licences for alterations, auction packs, re-financing, leases of warehouses, restaurants, office space and haulage yards and surrender of leases.
