The webinar considers the health and safety obligations of employers to set up safe systems of work, facilitate social distancing and the requirement to conduct risk assessments, along with the employment law implications of making changes to working arrangements and possible data protection issues that may arise. We consider the potential practical issues arising from the gradual return to work, such as employees who refuse to return to the workplace and employees who need to continue shielding. As the furlough scheme begins to wind down, employers will need to reconsider the options available to them.
