For all businesses, staying ahead of the game and understanding the latest industry issues is crucial, especially for those working in HR or people management roles.

Today’s demanding work environment means it can be a challenge to find the time and budget to attend professional training courses, so with this in mind, law firm Prettys have launched their first ever programme of employment law webinars.

The free 30 minute webinars, starting on Thursday 9th June, will provide legal updates, address topical industry issues and provide practical advice on a wide range of subjects.

The first webinar will examine the potential implications a UK exit from the EU would have from an employment law perspective and how it might affect businesses ahead of the EU referendum vote.

Other topics on the webinar programme will include gender pay gap reporting, workplace mediation, tax, termination payments and self-employment as well as social media in recruitment and employment and how to use restrictive covenants effectively.

Matthew Cole, Partner in the employment team at Prettys said, “We are delighted to launch this series of webinars. There are a huge range of issues that employers have to consider from social media policies to flexible working and gender pay gap reporting, we hope our easy to attend, bite-size webinars will be a valuable resource.”

The webinars will be interactive and attendees will be able to put questions to Prettys’ panel of experts on the relevant webinar topics.

The first Employment Law webinar themed around the forthcoming EU referendum vote will start at 10am on Thursday 9 June 2016. To register for the free event or to find out more information visit: www.prettys.co.uk/employment-law-webinar
