Mr Elzubeir has a strong client following in the manufacturing and retail sectors and has also developed niche expertise in advising regulated individuals on disciplinary and regulatory issues.  A former semi-professional footballer, his other core legal skills are in sports law and sports agency work.

He is ranked as a ‘new generation partner’ by the Legal 500 who also observe that “Elzubeir has a notably strong reputation amongst clients based in the Middle East”. Further feedback affirms that “regardless of the subject matter, Bushra gets up to speed quickly and provides the client with a quality service.”

Mr Elzubeir qualified as a solicitor in 2007 with one of East Anglia’s largest commercial firms and has since worked across London and the South East, building up a strong client base both in the UK and abroad.  He gained additional expertise as in-house legal counsel to an international asset financing company before returning to private practice.

Peter Blake, a long-standing commercial disputes partner at Prettys comments: “Bushra’s arrival will give us additional depth across a number of core areas of traditional dispute work.  Additionally his reputation and client base will broaden our geographic reach. Working closely with Dan Billson, he will also be instrumental in the continued growth of our sports law practice.  He’s a highly regarded lawyer whose clients value his practical and commercial approach; this is very much in keeping with the Prettys’ philosophy of providing clients with solutions rather than legal text books.”

Bushra Elzubeir adds: “I am very much looking forward to introducing my clients to the team at Prettys, adding value to some of the existing Prettys client relationships and working alongside other team members to win new business.  It’s an exciting time for us all.”
