Did you know lots of parents select mediation because they know it benefits them and their children?

A divorce or a separation can be a worrying and confusing time for the children involved. They may feel frustrated and apprehensive about what the future holds.  They may even blame themselves for their parents separating or worry about how their parents are coping.  With the right support, mediation can help parents ensure their children are reassured.

A mediator can help participants look at how they want to parent together after a separation and how they can both focus on supporting their children.  Mediation will give parents tools to communicate with one another and can also help with how they might talk to their children about the separation and future living arrangements.

At Prettys, we have lots of resources that we can direct parents to help them help their children and to make the adjustment to separated co-parents.

Victoria is passionate about the very real benefits family mediation can offer and would be pleased to talk to anyone considering mediation or who simply wants to know more about the process.  Contact Victoria on 01473 298 350 or vmayhew@prettys.co.uk
